Facebook is rolled outa new button in FB account today. That wiil allow users to donate nonprofits through social network directly. Specially time for the holiday season, a “Donate” feature will see beside news feed posts from 18 of part taking nonprofits as well as the top of their respective Pages.
However, it is needed to note that all of charity donations through facebook are limited to them in USA “with their preference currency set to US dollars.”
As you expect, when you click on donate button, you may specify the amount which you want to donate to any organization, enter in your information, and submit. That’s it.
Some Some may wonder whether FB takes a percentage of each donation for commission. It is not the case of 100 % of all donations formed through Facebook will go to the designed charitable organization.
Facebook has already gave this donate button in the past- followinh Typhoon Haiyan, the social networking company teamed with the International Fedration Of Red Cross to allow its users to donate directly to relief attempts in the Phillippines.
From there, FB saw people around the world wanted to continue to be generous and so it is launhing this feature out to more corporations. I think this good to facebook and all the user because with this button all users can five the donation, and Facebook can also increase their revenue.
More non-profits will be attached here in the future as a facebook updations. FB says if any organization that want to be take participate in donation the they can fill out its Donate interest form. There has a Frequently Asked Question Section setup to answer any questions you may have.
There are some non-profit organization given below:
